Inspired by early 18th-century paintings and Slavic folklore, this was a richly embellished and colorful collection with a sense of drama. Skinny evening gowns popped with bright, swirling embroideries, while others were cinched with black belts that had bejeweled, brooch-like buckles. Other dresses – in burgundy or black – had hole-punch details, giving them a youthful air. Short, swingy knitted dresses came in black and gold lame or eye-searing cobalt blue.
